An introduction to local-first apps
Local-first apps prioritize user experience by ensuring that data is stored and processed on the user's device first, rather than relying solely on the cloud. This talk will explore the principles behind local-first software, its benefits for performance, privacy, and offline access, and how it contrasts with cloud-dependent applications, while drawing from lessons and personal experience from building makkuro.app
Kyriakos Vogiatzis
